Conflict Resolution

 

Every company faces some degree of internal conflict. Disputes between shareholders, within governing bodies, between organisational units and in client relationships are common. The destructive energy of unresolved conflict can create lasting damage to critical and long-term relationships and thus impede business success.

As a mediator I support you in resolving disputes and conflicts. Impartiality and neutrality help me to objectify emotionally loaded situations. As a mediator I do not act as an authoritative “conciliator” but moderate a process that helps the all parties to find an acceptable solution to satisfy everyone involved.

How do leaders and leadership behaviour contribute to a company’s success?

This question has been with me throughout my entire working life ad career.

After studying Business Administration and Business-Psychology at the University of Mannheim I started my professional career with Lufthansa and then took my career to consulting working for Arthur D. Little. I subsequently became a Partner at ADL where I was able to accompany industry-leading companies with their strategic and organisational development. From 2001 as a Managing Partner with Deloitte, I was in charge of Human Capital Services in Germany and became a member of the global HCAS board. In 2004, as a result of project work, I took a role as Managing Director of the global HR function of one of Deutsche Bank’s business units and part of the team to shape DB`s global Talent Strategy. In 2008 I returned to Deloitte as Executive for Talent and HR in Germany, as an Executive in the Global Talent Council and as EMEA Talent Leader.

Over the course of my time at Deloitte I successfully trained as a mediator and coach. Today I selectively accompany executives and Companies in leadership issues. Additionally, I work as a Trainer and Coach for Deloitte University Europe’s leadership development courses.
